Course overview
This course will further develop students' ability to research methodologies and practices necessary to integrate theoretical, technological, behavioral, environmental, and ethical issues with creative practice. Students will develop skills in research strategies, techniques and methodologies, the relationship between theory and practice. Students will undertake individual research or professional projects.
Course learning outcomes
- Design and implement independent research on a chosen topic
- Develop a theoretical and ethical framework for practice, based on an analysis of contemporary or historic theory, discourse, or precedents
- Undertake, organise and analyse research material in the presentation of a cohesive written and/or drawn argument
