Course overview
This course empowers learners to tackle architectural design briefs through the lens of social and environmental sustainability. Participants will analyse the impacts of architectural projects on communities and the environment, using tools including performance simulation and assessment. Learners will develop a project of medium complexity while navigating diverse interests encountered during the design process. Emphasis is placed on active learning through hands-on projects, interdisciplinary and global perspectives. Assessment methods include project-based evaluations and presentations. By the course's end, learners will possess enhanced skills in sustainable design and a nuanced understanding of navigating complex sustainability challenges.
