Course overview

This course provides students with an understanding of the institutional, political and social environment in which planners operate, to inform more effective plan and policy making. This understanding is then used to identify contemporary and emerging planning issues for a planning jurisdiction that are resolved through students developing improved governance managed through new policies, regulations and plans within the framework provided the existing political and planning system.
