Printed and digital parchments

Your printed parchment is an important official document. If lost, it cannot be reissued in its original form - any replacement will state it is a replacement and include a replacement date.

Parchments are also issued digitally via My eQuals.

If you need to share your parchment with an employer or other third party, you can securely provide access to your digital parchment through the My eQuals portal.

Digital parchments include a secure digital signature that confirms the authenticity and integrity of your document when viewed or shared online. 

If a printed parchment is required, a certified copy is usually accepted. If you must send the original by post, we recommend using registered mail or a courier service.

Parchment collection

If you choose not to attend your graduation ceremony you will be able to collect your printed parchment from a Student Assist Office.

You may collect your parchment in person or submit the Third Party Proxy Form to authorise someone to collect it on your behalf. Parchments will be available for collection for approximately three months. After this time, they will be archived. To collect your parchment after it has been archived, please contact Student Assist to have your parchment recalled.

Parchment postage

If you don’t attend your graduation ceremony your parchment can be sent to you.

Postage costs are:

  • $15 for registered mail within Australia, additional $10 for express post.
  • $35 for DHL courier overseas

DHL can’t deliver to overseas PO boxes.
