Based at Adelaide University’s Whyalla campus, our Rural Health Clinic provides a range of allied health services for the community in Whyalla and surrounding areas. Services are delivered by students supervised by qualified and experienced healthcare professionals.
Podiatry services
We deliver high quality podiatry services, treating and managing a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.
We provide a range of clinical services for adults and children including:
Foot and lower limb assessment
Treatment of lesions of the skin and nails, including corns, calluses, and nail problems
Treatment of infections (e.g. plantar warts)
Nail surgery
Foot care and footwear education
Biomechanical assessment
Diabetes foot assessment and education.
If you or your child is experiencing pain, activity limitations, or if there is a family history of foot and leg problems, we provide lower limb assessment to enable early identification.
We are able to assist with concerns including flat feet, ‘pigeon-toed’ walking, Metatarsus Adductus, foot orthoses, warts, pains, bow legs (genu warum) and ingrown toenails.
In addition to receiving valuable client care, you will help us deliver quality clinical education to Adelaide University students
– our next generation of healthcare professionals.
Appointments are essential. A medical practitioner referral is not required to access podiatry services and there is no charge for routine treatment.
