How do I apply for a postgraduate by coursework degree as an international student?

Last Modified: 13/Jul/2024

The method of application to an Adelaide University postgraduate by coursework degree is the same as the process for undergraduate degrees. It will depend on your region or country of citizenship. If you are a citizen of the following regions, you will need to apply through an official Adelaide University Education Agent:
  • The Middle East
  • North Africa
  • Sub-Saharan Africa
  • South Asia (Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka)
  • Philippines
  • Latin America.

If you are a citizen from any other region, you can apply directly, see Apply now.

All applicants will need the following documentation:
  • academic transcripts and certificates for all school and tertiary studies (original language and certified English translations)
  • official English proficiency test results
  • syllabus of subjects if you would like to be considered for credit transfer/advanced standing
  • any professional qualification or memberships you hold
  • a copy of your passport.

All documentation provided (including English translations of the documents) must be original copies or certified as a true copy of the original.

You will need to make sure you apply by the application closing date, which can vary for different programs, and ensure that you are able to meet any prerequisite or assumed knowledge listed for your desired degree.
