How do I apply for credit as an international student?

Last Modified: 13/Jul/2024

You can apply for credit/advanced standing when you lodge your application via an Education Agent or the Online Application System.

To apply for credit/advanced standing in the Online Application System, tick the box that asks if you'd like to be assessed for credit and follow the instructions about what documentation you need to provide. This includes:

  • academic transcript
  • curriculum syllabus (outlining the overview of the curriculum, weekly list of topics, contact hours, assessment criteria, textbooks and readings).

The supporting documentation must be certified official copies. If original documentation is in a language other than English, you will be required to provide certified English translations.

If your credit/advanced standing application is successful, your Offer of Admission will outline the credit offered by Adelaide University and the reduced duration of your study.
