What can I do if my Selection Rank isn't competitive enough for entry?

Last Modified: 13/Jul/2024

If your Selection Rank isn't competitive enough to enter your preferred program, there are other pathways you can use to enter Adelaide University. One possible pathway is, if you are offered a place in an alternative program at Adelaide University you may be able to apply for an internal transfer to your preferred program once you have completed at least one course (subject). This will help you to achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) that you can then use to be considered for entry (in addition to any other entry requirements of the program).

Alternatively if you don’t have a Selection Rank, consider taking a foundation or pathway program via UniSA College or the University of Adelaide, a TAFE/VET program, or sitting the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) before reapplying for entry to your preferred program.
