Presentations

Presentations are a unique opportunity to hear from industry, graduates and current students about a range of degrees and careers in the STEM and education sector. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, gain an understanding of the pathways to admission, discover university life, learn how to build your study program and what to expect in your first year.

Before Open Day


Our Adelaide City campuses will showcase everything you need to know about studying with us, no matter what you’re interested in. Adelaide City West campus will be home to all things art, architecture and design along with tours of our health precinct. Adelaide City East campus will cover everything else, from business and STEM to creative industries, health and humanities. 

We also encourage you to check out our other campus events running throughout August so you can get all the info you need to prepare for uni. 

Don’t forget if you live in regional South Australia and are planning on studying locally, you can register to attend Mount Gambier Campus Open Day on Sunday 3 August or Whyalla Campus Open Day on Sunday 31 August. 

We welcome everyone to come along and get involved. If you’re interested in studying at university, or you’re a parent, friend, career adviser or teacher, there’s information for everyone. 

It’s important to register for Adelaide University Open Day events through our website. This way you’ll stay up to date with all the latest information and event reminders.

Yes, you can attend any of our Open Day events without registering, however we encourage you to register ahead of time so you can stay up to date with event reminders and the latest information. It also gives you access to our online digital planner for all campus events.

Your online event registration confirms your attendance at the event, enabling you to access everything available on campus including information booths, presentations and interactivities. You’ll also gain access to our online digital planner.

Please note, you will need to book campus tours at our Adelaide City Campuses prior to attending these. The digital planner is to plan your day and is not a booking system. For tours that have times slots, you will need to book in on the website.

Of course – it’s important to us that everyone can enjoy Open Day. 

The University has a number of all gender, male and female wheelchair accessible toilets on each of its campuses. These will be marked on the accessibility maps available at the welcome booth on the day.

Most lecture theatres and teaching spaces provide facilities such as wheelchair spaces, and many have wheelchair access points at the front and rear of the room. Hearing loops are available on campus in some lecture theatres to assist people using hearing aids. 

Accessible parking bays are located throughout each of the campuses. In the event all parking bays are occupied, Disability Permit holders can park in any accessible parking bay or plain white lined area, provided their permit from the Department of Transport is clearly displayed. The permit is not valid in yellow lined parking bays such as 15-minute bays, loading zones, or reserved spaces.

Yes, absolutely! You don’t need to register your guests to attend, just bring them along on the day.

This is your chance to experience Adelaide University’s first Open Days. Join us at our city campuses on Sunday 27 July to explore your study options, talk to staff and students and get clear on how to apply.

You can also visit our other campuses throughout August to check out the spaces you’ll study in, learn where your degree could take you and get a real feel for uni life.

  • Presentations – get real insight into future careers and different areas of study, learn about exciting opportunities available to Adelaide University students, and hear from teachers, current students and graduates.  
  • Campus tours – head to the tour departure locations beforehand to book your spot then tour the campus and explore our unique learning spaces.   
  • Information booths – talk to degree experts, pick up a brochure, and connect with staff and students about studying at Adelaide University.   
  • Interactivities – get hands-on with interactive demonstrations and activities that show what uni learning is really like.
  • Application support – learn about the uni application process and alternative entry pathways.   

This is your opportunity to visit your home campus, uncover even more about your degree interests and see the facilities you’ll study in.   

Speak to current staff, students and graduates, explore each campus in more detail and check out what else is on offer to make the most of your Open Day experience.

Entry is free to all Adelaide University Open Day events. This includes presentations, campus tours, interactivities, information booths and live entertainment. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on campus. 

Some of the facilities you visit on your tour may require enclosed footwear. We ask that you wear fully-enclosed shoes when attending the tours – this will keep you nice and safe in our facilities. 

It’s not mandatory however you can cancel your registration via your Open Day planner. Ensure that you are logged in to the online platform and then head to the My planner dashboard to change your registration/s.
