Campus tours

Adelaide University’s Roseworthy Campus is a vibrant hub for animal-focused undergraduate teaching, postgraduate training, research, and clinical services. 

 

Located just 50 kilometres north of Adelaide on a sprawling 1600-hectare property, the campus features a working farm and animal hospitals, where students gain hands-on experience, making it a major centre for South Australia's animal and veterinary science teaching and research.

Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital tours

See the exceptional care and cutting-edge facilities at the Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital, part of Adelaide University’s Roseworthy Campus. 

 

The hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services for all animals, from beloved pets to farm livestock and exotic species. With 24/7 emergency care, routine healthcare, and specialised referral services, the dedicated team of veterinarians and nurses are committed to the wellbeing of animals. A booking is required to join our tours, as space is limited in the areas we visit.

With current staff and students available to chat, information presentations, veterinary hospital and campus tours, you'll gather all the information you need to make an informed decision about studying at Roseworthy. See the campus for yourself. Make new connections. Prepare for your future career.

This campus is located in the town Roseworthy, located 50 kilometres north of Adelaide. 

Of course – it’s important to us that everyone can enjoy Open Day. 

The University has a number of all gender, male and female wheelchair accessible toilets on each of its campuses. These will be marked on the accessibility maps available at the welcome booth on the day.

Most lecture theatres and teaching spaces provide facilities such as wheelchair spaces, and many have wheelchair access points at the front and rear of the room. Hearing loops are available on campus in some lecture theatres to assist people using hearing aids. 

Accessible parking bays are located throughout each of the campuses. In the event all parking bays are occupied, Disability Permit holders can park in any accessible parking bay or plain white lined area, provided their permit from the Department of Transport is clearly displayed. The permit is not valid in yellow lined parking bays such as 15-minute bays, loading zones, or reserved spaces.

Roseworthy Campus Cafe, Mathildi Cafe, will be open from 10:30am to 2:30pm for tea, coffee and light lunches.  
 

There are plenty of onsite parking areas around the campus.

There are train services from Adelaide CBD to Gawler, then bus transfers.
