Mawson Lakes Campus

The state’s technological heart set on suburban wetlands

Adelaide University’s Mawson Lakes Campus is set alongside 114 hectares of wetlands within the world-class Mawson Lakes residential development. Just 12 kilometres and approximately 20 minutes' drive from the city centre, the campus is next to Technology Park, which is home to several global space, technology, and defence companies, many of which have partnered with the University.

Relax by the recreation lake, access local shops or explore the wonders of the universe at the Adelaide Planetarium, which is located on campus. Mawson Lakes Campus is easily accessible by train with the Mawson Lakes rail interchange nearby, and plentiful on-campus car parking available.

The library and student lounge areas are perfect for casual study and there are there many green spaces and buzzing cafes around campus - all open to the public.

Brightside Deli, Charlie & Co and Zambrero offer quality, affordable food and beverage options on campus, which cater to range of tastes and dietary needs. There are also student kitchen areas with access to microwaves and boiling water so you can bring your own food to heat and eat.

Want to keep active and meet new friends? You’ll have access to contemporary fitness facilities on-campus, where everyone is welcome, regardless of physical ability. Or indulge your curiosity at the Adelaide Planetarium, which offers a unique interactive experience to explore the universe, galaxy and solar system.
