How to enrol for a place at USC

The application process outlined below is for domestic applicants only. If you are an international student, please follow the application steps for international students.

Step 1 – Complete the application form

Before commencing the application form, please make sure you have the following documents ready to upload:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Current year Semester one and two reports or previous year Semester 2 report.
  • Year 9 NAPLAN

If you have contacted or visited University Senior College previously, then we may already hold contact information, which we can use to prepopulate your application form. For this to happen, please be sure to enter in the same email address that you used before.

Complete the application form, additional questionnaire and pay the application fee of $120 (GST inclusive and non-refundable) to USC.

Step 2 – Sit entry test

Students will be invited to sit an entry test. Shortly after the test, students will be notified of the outcome and if they will progress to an interview

Following your application being received our Enrolment Officer will contact you to set up a time for testing and enrolment interview.

Step 3 – Receive offer of enrolment

Shortly after the interview, you’ll be notified whether your application for enrolment has been successful. If it is successful, you’ll be offered a place at USC. You can secure your enrolment by completing the USC enrolment forms and returning them to the College with the enrolment fee of $320 (also not refundable) within one week of the receipt of the offer.

Step 4 – Attend Orientation

You are expected to attend an orientation program, which takes place during the week prior to the commencement of formal lessons. You can see your campus, meet other new students and settle in before you start.

Step 5 – Transition lectures (Year 12 and 13 students only)

If you’re enrolled for Year 12 or 13, you are required to attend the transition lectures held at the end of the current year for the subjects you intend to study in the following year at USC. A program is distributed during Term 4.
