The Wilhelm Ruff Science Grant will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program at Adelaide University.
The grant is designed to assist recipients meet the costs associated with study including textbooks‚ travel costs‚ computing equipment or other out-of-pocket expenses.
The recipient will be selected based on academic merit (minimum Grade Point Average of 5.0) and passion for science as demonstrated in the personal written statement. Preference may be given to female applicants or students who are experiencing financial and/or other educational barriers that impact access to study or continued study.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the grant‚ applicants must:⦁ Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, Holder or Permanent Humanitarian Visa or New Zealand Citizen
⦁ Be a continuing student enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Science program at Adelaide University
⦁ Submit a written statement
⦁ Have a minimum GPA of 5.0
Selection criteria
Applicants will be required to provide a personal written statement (maximum 500 words) detailing:⦁ Academic achievements.
⦁ Reasons for studying their current program and majors and their passion for science.
⦁ Future career goals.
⦁ Any financial and/or other educational barriers that the applicant would like taken into consideration.
