The Rotary Club of the Barossa Valley Foundation Scholarship is available to financially disadvantaged, high achieving, full-time students from the Barossa Valley who are recent school leavers, new to University and are commencing a Adelaide University undergraduate degree.
Eligibility criteria
Must be able to demonstrate that they resided in the Barossa Valley/Eden Valley area for the previous five years.
Submit a personal written statement detailing their ATAR achieved in Year 12‚ their school activities and responsibilities‚ and any community involvement they may have undertaken. Details of how the scholarship will assist them while completing their program and with future goals should also be included in the statement.
Provide a character reference.
Candidate selection
Selection will be based on academic merit, financial disadvantage, and the written statement and reference.
Important information
Continuance of the scholarship is subject to the recipient's adherence to the conditions which include full time enrolment and satisfactory academic performance during the scholarship term.
