The Peter Kittle Motor Company Scholarship will be available to students studying full-time in a range of Adelaide University undergraduate business degrees. To be eligible‚ applicants must have completed first year (successfully completed at least 36 units of study in their business program) and achieved a cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.5 or above.
Eligible students include non-first year students undertaking a bachelor’s degree (3 years full-time study)‚ those pursuing a double degree (5 years full-time study) and those enrolled in the Fast-track to Master’s in Business (4 years full-time study).
The scholarship includes the opportunity to engage with the company to gain valuable work and practical experience. The engagement will be tailored and mutually agreed between the company and each individual recipient and may take the form of mentoring support‚ work placement / internship‚ or at the company’s discretion‚ paid work experience during semester breaks and the summer vacation period. Any work placement component may be formalised and earn course credit subject to course enrolment and Program Director approval.
Value: Payment will be in the form of up to four tuition fee offsets per recipient spread over two years based on the Student Contribution rate applicable to Adelaide University Business students.

• second‚ third‚ fourth or fifth-year student enrolled in an eligible undergraduate business program (to be eligible a student must have completed at least 36 units inclusive of credit)
• academic merit (Grade Point Average of 4.5 or above)
• full-time study load
• residing in or near the Adelaide Metropolitan Area (in a position to satisfy the work experience provisions of the scholarship)
• submission of a written statement
• submission of a Curriculum Vitae
• interview
Selection criteria
Applicants are required to provide a written statement (500-750 words) detailing:• reasons for studying their Adelaide University business program and how the degree supports their aspirations
• future career goals
• any past and current work history
• community involvement / extracurricular interests or activities
• academic achievements
• interest in gaining work experience and insights from Peter Kittle Motors whilst completing their degree
Important information
There is an expectation scholarship recipients will be keen to benefit from the work experience provisions of the scholarship. Paid work will be remunerated at the award rate for students (per the relevant industry award or equivalent).
Two scholarships will be offered each year the scholarship program is available and the financial benefit to recipients will be in the form of Student Contribution tuition fee offset. Recipients will receive the scholarship for up to two years (final year students will receive scholarship support for one year only).
Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview.
