The Ngampa Aboriginal Student Scholarship will be available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in first or second year of any undergraduate program offered by Adelaide University.
Applicants must identify as Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted as such in the community the student belongs to, lives in, or has lived in.
Each scholarship is valued at up to $15,000 ($7,500 per year for two years for full-time students)
Value: up to $15,000 payable as $7,500 per year for a maximum of two years.
Scholarship recipients will receive the following payments each year for the duration of the scholarship:
$3,750 after the Semester 1 census date
$3,750 after the Semester 2 census date
Ongoing payments are subject to maintaining on-going enrollment and maintaining a GPA of 4 or above.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship‚ applicants must:
⦁ Identify as Australian Aboriginal and be accepted as an Aboriginal person in the community the student belongs to‚ lives in‚ or has lived in.
⦁ Be a first or second-year Bachelor degree student.
⦁ Be enrolled full-time (preferred)
⦁ Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 or above.
⦁ Be experiencing financial and/or other educational barriers that impact access to study or continued study.
⦁ Provide a written statement.
Selection criteria
Applicants will provide a written statement (maximum 500 words) detailing:
⦁ Their family heritage and their connection to community
⦁ Academic achievements.
⦁ Future career goals.
⦁ Any financial and/or educational barriers that impact access to study or continued study they would like taken into account.
Important information
Continuance of the scholarship is subject to satisfactory academic performance and the recipient should maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 or above.
