The Neville Arthur Scholarship for Piano or Violin has been established by a gift from Neville Langsford Arthur to support students in the Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance, Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Performance or Bachelor of Music (Advanced) specialising piano or violin at the Elder Conservatorium of Music Adelaide University.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance, Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Performance or Bachelor of Music (Advanced) specialising piano or violin at the Elder Conservatorium of Music
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Recommendation by the relevant area

- There is no application process for this scholarship, it will be directly awarded
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may be eligible for this Scholarship
