The Margaret J Duncan Scholarship is available to full time and part time students enrolled in a Adelaide University Business and Law undergraduate program.
Value
Up to $15‚000 ($5‚000 per year up to 3 years)
Payments:
$2‚500 after the Semester 1 census date
$2‚500 after the Semester 2 census date
Pro-rata payment applies for part-time enrolment.

To be eligible for the scholarship‚ applicants must:
⦁ be an Australian citizen, or Permanent Resident of Australia, Holders of Humanitarian Visa and New Zealand Citizen.
⦁ be enrolled full-time or part-time in a Adelaide University College of Business and Law undergraduate program
⦁ demonstrate financial need‚ addressed in the written statement as part of their application‚ stating the grounds on which they wish to be considered; or
⦁ demonstrate academic achievement (minimum GPA 5.0) or (minimum ATAR 80 inclusive of any adjustment factors)
⦁ submit a written statement supporting their application
⦁ agree to academic record to be shared with the scholarship panel
a written statement (maximum 750 words) detailing:
⦁ reasons for studying the program
⦁ future career goals and personal aspirations
⦁ financial need (if applicable)
⦁ academic standing and achievements
⦁ personal responsibilities and commitments which the applicant is managing in addition to their studies
⦁ work experience‚ community involvement and extracurricular activities/interests
The scholarship will be awarded based on the written statement outlining why the applicant would be a worthy recipient‚ and demonstration of financial need OR academic merit.
Ongoing conditions:
Scholarship recipients must meet the following conditions in order to receive on-going payments:
⦁ Maintain enrolment in a Adelaide University Business and Law undergraduate program (leave is not permitted)
⦁ Maintain satisfactory academic progress
