In 1972, Adrian Lynda Tapp bequeathed approximately $11,000 to the University of Adelaide to establish a prize in physiology. The fund has since grown, and the income it now generates allows for the award of a Scholarship in physiology.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking an Honours Degree with a research project in Physiology
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Research project
- Answers to questions on the application form
