The Law Grant for Community Spirit will be awarded annually to students enrolled in a minimum of 6.0 units in the year of nomination in the Bachelor of Laws program or associated double degrees.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
⦁ Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, Holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa, New Zealand Citizen or International Student
⦁ Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units in Adelaide University Bachelor of Laws or associated double degrees
⦁ Provides a written statement outlining the criteria below
Selection criteria
Written statement (maximum 500 words) should outline:
⦁ Examples of leadership (e.g. works well with others‚ is motivated‚ and supports and fosters teamwork)
⦁ How you foster a positive student culture (e.g. engaged in the life of Adelaide University’s School of Law and broader University activities and actively seeks to encourage others to participate)
⦁ How you enhance the reputation of the School of Law (e.g. is involved in an initiative or initiatives which actively promotes the legal profession).
Selection is competitive and awarded by a Selection Panel based on the content of the written statement.
Important information
If‚ in the view of the Selection Panel‚ no application is sufficiently meritorious‚ no award shall be made.
Grant recipients may be in receipt of other student awards.
