The Robinson Research Institute (RRI) at Adelaide University is internationally recognised for excellence in research in reproduction, pregnancy, and early-life health. A unique aspect of RRI’s work is to understand how early stages of life are linked to health and well-being over the life course and across generations, in Australia and around the world.
The Robinson Research Institute has established the Jeffrey Robinson Honours Scholarship in honour of its namesake, Emeritus Professor Jeffrey Robinson. Professor Robinson was appointed Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Adelaide in 1986 and was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in recognition of his significant contributions to maternal and fetal health.
The Jeffrey Robinson Honours Scholarship is funded by RRI and supports undergraduate students undertaking an Honours research project that directly aligns with one of the Foundation Science Streams:
• Reproductive immunology
• Preconception, conception and developmental biology
• Physiology of pregnancy
• Determinants of early life health
• Clinical trials and translation
Value: $5,000 per year to be paid in two instalments.
