This scholarship is open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander full-time and part-time students of Adelaide University who are undertaking the final year of an undergraduate program or an Honours year.
The scholarship is valued at up to $6‚000 and is awarded on the basis of academic merit‚ a written statement‚ supporting statement from your Program Director/Coordinator or Honours Supervisor or Head of School and community service.
Value: Up to $6‚000 available to full-time or part-time students‚ split in two instalments after the Semester 1 and Semester 2 census dates.
If the study load is part-time for any given semester‚ recipients receive the pro rata rate (half the full-time rate). Depending upon the stage at which the scholarship is received and progression‚ the recipient may not receive the full $6‚000. Payments are not retrospective.
Where the study load is 18 units or above in a semester the recipient will be paid the full-time amount of $3‚000; if the study load is less than 18 units‚ the recipient will be paid the part-time rate (pro-rata) of $1‚500.

⦁ Reasons for applying for the scholarship.

Please note that previous recipients of the Irene & David Davy Scholarship for Advancement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education are not eligible to re-apply.
Continuance of the scholarship is subject to satisfactory academic progress
