Once you’ve completed your responses to the eligibility criteria in myScholarships, you’ll be able to upload the required supporting documents to your online application.

Supporting documentation for financial need
If money worries are making it hard for you to start or continue your studies at AU, we strongly encourage you to apply for scholarships and other financial support. These opportunities can ease financial pressure and help you focus on your studies.
Your application is completely private and will not affect your application to study at AU, your admission, or your status as a student.
Supporting documentation for financial needTo help us understand your financial situation, you may be asked to provide some information. If you don’t receive a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, or a means-tested Centrelink payment, you might be asked to complete a Financial Details for Scholarship Eligibility form as part of your application.
We especially encourage you to apply if you’re under 22, not receiving a means-tested benefit like Centrelink Income Support, but still need extra financial help to study.
If your application isn’t successful, it doesn’t mean you’re not in need—just that other applicants may have been assessed as having greater financial need.
About means testing:
Means testing looks at your income and assets to determine if you’re eligible for support like Centrelink payments. For the latest information, visit the Australian Government payments guide on Services Australia.
If you already receive a means-tested Centrelink payment, please upload evidence durin your application if prompted.
If you don’t receive means-tested benefits, we’ll assess your financial need using the Financial Details for Scholarship Eligibility form. Only complete this form if your online application asks for it, and make sure to fill it out carefully and upload all required supporting documents through myScholarships.
