The Hoopmann Kulpi Minupa Program Scholarship was established in 2022 by Jill Hoopmann, in her role as Director of the Hoopmann Education Fund Pty. Ltd, the trustee of the FW & D Hoopmann Education Trust. The Trust was created through a bequest from Jill's Father, Don Hoopmann, to support students studying medicine at the University of Adelaide.
The Scholarship supports students studying medicine or related programs at Adelaide University who are undertaking rural and/or remote activities.

Value: $5,000 to be paid in two instalments.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Undertaking a Bachelor of Medical Studies or the Doctor of Medicine program at Adelaide University
- An Australian citizen, permanent residents of Australia or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
- Be undertaking a rural clinical placement in the year following the award of the scholarship
- Demonstrate you are in financial need*
*Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Rural career interest
- Financial need

- The scholarship will be awarded in the preceding year to the student undertaking rural clinical placement
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
