The G.O. Lawrence Scholarship has been established from a bequest to the University from Mrs Alice Eileen Lawrence in 1966 in memory of Gordon Ord Lawrence who was a teacher of conservative dentistry in the Dental School from 1940 to 1960. The scholarship supports postgraduate coursework students undertaking the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry program.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry program in 2027 and specialising in one or more of the following:
- Prosthodontics (e.g. crown & bridge/implants/removable)
- Endodontics
- Paediatrics
- Periodontics
- Special needs - Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen, holder of a permanent humanitarian visa or an international student
- Be enrolled on a full time basis
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Answers to questions on the application form Important Information

- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply.
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may not apply for this Scholarship
