The Future Leaders Human Resource Management Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled full-time or part-time in the second or third (final) year of the Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management BBUSI or XBBHR (Online) program at Adelaide University. Final year students in the Bachelor of Psychology majoring in Counselling and Interpersonal Skills/Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management (ZBPBB) are also eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Value:
The recipient will receive $5‚000. The $5‚000 will be paid in two instalments of $2‚500 after the Semester 1 and Semester 2 census dates provided the recipient maintains enrolment and satisfactory academic progress.
Pro rata payments will apply to part-time recipients.

Applicants will be asked to provide a written statement (800 words) detailing:
⦁ Their interest and passion for the field of human resources
⦁ The benefits of effective HRM for people and organisations
⦁ How receipt of the scholarship would assist them in pursuing their HR career
⦁ Academic achievements
⦁ Future career goals
⦁ Any financial or educational disadvantage that the applicant wishes to be taken into account
Applicants must also submit a current Curriculum Vitae as part of their application.
Interest and passion for the HR field is a key component of the selection criteria and applicants should take care to address this aspect in their written statement and if shortlisted for interview.
In addition to the scholarship funds‚ the scholarship is a unique opportunity to receive mentoring from a passionate and experienced human resources leader with many years of industry experience.&l
The mentoring experience will be customised. The timing and duration of mentoring will account for the commitments of both recipients and the mentor, as well as the recipients' stage of development.
