The Essays in Advocacy Travel Assistance Scholarship was established in 2018 at the University of Adelaide, by the Adelaide Law School to support undergraduate coursework student(s) undertaking a study tour and / or exchange during their Bachelor of Laws program (including double degrees).

Value: Up to $500 for travel within Australia, Up to $1,000 for travel outside of Australia.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking second, third or Honours year of the Bachelor of Laws program (including associated double or combined degrees)
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
- Be undertaking either a national or international study tour and /or exchange (with priority given to study tours)
- Provide approval of the study tour or exchange
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Answers to questions on the application form
Important information
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- Up to $500 will be available for a student travelling within Australia
- Up to $1000 will be available for a student travelling outside Australia
- Should the recipient of a Scholarship not proceed with the study tour and/or exchange travel as planned, then the scholarship amount must be repaid to the University in full within 3 months after the date of the planned travel
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
