In 2021, Eric Robert Fuss bequeathed money to the University of Adelaide to establish undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships in History and Geography. This scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing Honours studies in Geography.
Eric Fuss was an alumnus of the University of Adelaide, graduating with a BA in 1967. An English teacher who lived in Burra, he was greatly admired as a quiet achiever and made a significant contribution to Burra’s written history. Over many years, he generously shared his knowledge about the town and district’s history with researchers and was the author of numerous publications.
