The Eddie Hughes Regional Education Grant is available to students enrolled full-time in any program at Adelaide University's Whyalla Campus.
Value: Up to $1‚000. Paid in two instalments of $500 after the Semester 1 census date and after the Semester 2 census date‚ provided the recipient continues to meet the scholarship criteria and maintains satisfactory academic performance.

Eligibility
⦁ Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, Holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa or a New Zealand Citizen
⦁ Full-time enrolment in a program offered at Adelaide University’s Whyalla Campus
⦁ First in family to attend university
⦁ Experiencing financial need
⦁ Provide a written statement outlining the points below.
Selection criteria
Applicants are required to provide a written statement (maximum 250 words) detailing:

⦁ Financial need
⦁ How the grant will contribute to success in your study
⦁ Academic achievements (including first year results and GPA).
Selection will be made according to the personal written statement and academic merit. Preference may be given to students in their first year of study.
