The Dr Sing Ting Masters Scholarship was established in 2016 by Sing Ping Ting Pty Ltd. Dr Sing Ting, a medical graduate of the University of Adelaide (1974) attributes her personal and professional success to her education at the University of Adelaide. Through this scholarship, she aims to provide other students with the opportunities that she received during her time at the University of Adelaide.
Value: $15,000 per year to be paid in two instalments.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be commencing any Masters by Coursework program
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis
- Demonstrate you are in financial need*
* Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Financial need
- Answers to questions on the application form
- Preference for humanitarian visa holders, Indigenous students and students who have relocated from a rural, regional or remote area

- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may not apply for this Scholarship
