The Peter & Virginia Moorfield Scholarship in Civil Engineering established in 2016 at the University of Adelaide by Peter and Virginia Moorfield to support commencing undergraduate students undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)(Honours) program including double degree programs.

Value: $5,000 per year to be paid in two equal instalments.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be commencing a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)(Honours), including double degree programs.
- Be an Australian Citizen
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
- Demonstrate you are in financial need*
* Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (ATAR)
- Financial need
- Answers to questions on the application form
- Preference for a student who has relocated from a regional, rural or remote location to undertake study at the Adelaide University

- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may not apply for this Scholarship
