A merit-based top-up scholarship bequeathed in 1960 by Oliver Rutherford Turner.
This scholarship is for eligible commencing full-time graduate research candidates in the area of dentistry. The successful applicant must also be in receipt of a major scholarship. Recipients will receive a top-up stipend of $10,000 p.a. for up to 3.5 years.
Eligibility
To be eligible to hold the Scholarship, a candidate must:
- be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or Permanent Humanitarian visa holder;
- be commencing a full-time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program at the University;
- be undertaking research in the field of dentistry; and
- be a recipient of a major scholarship at the University.
Selection criteria
The Scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process based on academic merit, research potential and relevance of academic research.
