A merit-based top-up scholarship bequeathed by Julia Nora Konig in 1976.
This scholarship is for eligble Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates commencing a graduate research program at the University. The successful applicant must also be in receipt of a major scholarship. Recipients will receive a top-up stipend of $6,000 p.a. for up to 3.5 years.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible to hold the Scholarship, a candidate must:
- identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
- be eligible to commence a full-time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program at the University; and
- be a recipient of a major scholarship at the University.
Candidate selection
The Scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process based on academic merit, research potential and relevance of academic research.
