The John ‘Slick’ Osborn Scholarship was established in 2000 at the University of Adelaide by a bequest from John Russell Osborn to support undergraduate students studying drums or percussion instruments at the Elder Conservatorium of Music.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance or Jazz Performance, Bachelor of Music (Honours) majoring in Classical Performance or Jazz Performance or Bachelor of Music (Advanced) programs and specialising indrums or percussion instruments
- Be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia
- Be enrolled on a full-time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place

- There is no application process for this scholarship, it will be directly awarded
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may be eligible for this Scholarship
