The Decie Denholm Scholarship in Music was established in 2018 at the University of Adelaide by a bequest from Decie Aileen Denholm. The Scholarship supports students undertaking advanced musical training either at the Elder Conservatorium of Music and School of Performing Arts or elsewhere in Australia or overseas.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, postgraduate coursework or postgraduate research program at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, or;
- Be a recent graduate of no more than five years of the Elder Conservatorium of Music
- Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident of Australia
- Provide documentary evidence of advanced musical training, such as an itinerary, details of advanced musical training, proposed travel and budget at the time of application
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic and musical achievements
- Answers to questions on the application form
Important information
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- Should the recipient not proceed with their planned travel and/or study and payments has already been made to the recipient, then the funds are to be repaid to the University as agreed by the recipient and the University
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
