A merit-based top-up scholarship bequeathed by Bertha Helga Sudholz in 1960.
This scholarship is for eligible commencing graduate research candidates studying diseases of the ear, nose and throat. The successful applicant must also be in receipt of a major scholarship. Recipients will receive a top-up stipend of up to $9,000 per annum for full-time study for the duration of their major award.
Eligibility
To be eligible to hold the Scholarship, a candidate must:
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
- be commencing a full-time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at the University;
- be undertaking research in diseases of the ear, nose and throat; and
- be a recipient of a major scholarship at the University.
Selection criteria
The Scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process based on academic merit, research potential and relevance of academic research.
