The Australian Institute for Machine Learning Industrial AI Program Honours Scholarship has been established by the Australian Institute for Machine Learning to support two exceptional students engaging in advanced research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in an Honours program of study at Adelaide University.

Value: $10,000 to be paid in two instalments.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:
- Be undertaking an Honours degree or the honours component of their degree
- Be undertaking a research project supervised by an academic from the Australian Institute for Machine Learning
- Be a citizen of Australia, United Kingdom or the United States of America or a permanent resident of Australia
- Be enrolled on a full-time basis
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Demonstrated academic excellence and strong potential for significant research contributions
- Advanced capabilities in programming languages, familiarity with libraries and frameworks, deep learning and neural networks, and common statistical concepts
- Answers to questions on the application form
- Performance at an interview

- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
