The Adelaide University Future Leaders Scholarship recognises high academic achievers with a 95 (or above) selection rank or equivalent who demonstrate leadership potential and community service. Recipients will receive a stipend of up to $15,000 per annum for up to 4 years full-time study or part-time equivalent.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a commencing undergraduate student (including AU Online)
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
- Live at a South Australian Address
- ATAR of 95 or above, or equivalent, including all applicable adjustment factors
- Demonstrate leadership potential, service in the school and/or community, outstanding performance in sport, arts or in entrepreneurship and provide supporting documentation
- To be eligible for relocation grant, the home postcode as recorded in the student record, must be outside of Major Cities in Australia
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit
- Home postcode as per the student record to determine relocation grant eligibility
- Evidence of leadership, volunteering, school and/or community service, outstanding performance in sport, arts or in entrepreneurship.
Important information
- Applications open early 2026.
- One off relocation grant of $1,500 to students relocating from postcodes outside of Major Cities of Australia areas based on the ASGC Remoteness Area result from the Health Workforce locator: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/health-workforce-locator/app
