A scholarship acknowledging academic achievement of Aboriginal students who demonstrate leadership potential or active service in their school or community. Recipients will receive a stipend up to $5,000 per annuum for up to 4 years full time study or part-time equivalent.
Eligibility criteria
- Commencing Undergraduate Student (Including online)
- Australian Citizen
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
- Academic Merit 85 selection rank or equivalent (selection rank is ATAR with adjustment factors applied)
- Demonstrate leadership potential or active service in their school or community
- To be eligible for relocation grant, the home postcode as recorded in the student record, must be outside of Major Cities in Australia
- Students from participating schools only

Important information
- Applications open early 2026.
- One off relocation grant of $1,500 to students relocating from postcodes outside of Major Cities in Australia areas based on the ASGC Remoteness Area result from the Health Workforce locator: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/health-workforce-locator/app
- $500 Starter Pack grant will be paid to all students who are awarded this scholarship
- Bursaries to support accomodation expenses for one year are available as part of this scholarship
