The Dean of Law’s Fund was established in 2014 at the University of Adelaide with the generous support of alumni and the legal community to offer support where possible to identified individuals within a group of students who are academically capable but may be financially disadvantaged and who, without support, might not be able to achieve completion of their studies.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking a Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Law (Honours)
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Demonstrate you are in financial need* - Apply for amounts up to $500 for textbooks, stationery, transport and other essential items *Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Financial need
- Answers to questions on the application form

- The amount awarded will be at the discretion of the selection panel
- The award must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
