The Daisy Burmeister Salotti Piano Scholarship was established in 1970
at the University of Adelaide when Daisy Salotti bequeathed $6,000 for the
purpose of establishing scholarships in piano.
The Scholarship supports students undertaking the Bachelor of Music or
Bachelor of Music (Honours) program of study majoring in piano at Adelaide
University.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be undertaking a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance, Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Performance, Bachelor of Music (Honours) majoring in Classical Performance, Bachelor of Music (Honours) majoring in Jazz Performance or Bachelor of Music (Honours) program specialising in piano
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA or ATAR)
- Auditions, performances or interviews relevant to the School of Performing Arts and Elder Conservatorium of Music

- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other Adelaide University Scholarships may be eligible for this Scholarship
