Cowan Regional Grants are available to assist commencing students studying full time at the Mt Gambier Campus. The grants assist students with the costs associated with full time study including study, living and travel expenses. Students must demonstrate financial need and provide a written statement addressing the grant criteria.
Value: $5‚000. Payments are split in two instalments of $2‚500 each after the Semester 1 and Semester 2 census dates provided the recipient continues to meet the grant criteria and maintains satisfactory academic performance.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen‚ permanent resident‚ holders of Permanent Humanitarian Visa or New Zealand Citizens
- be able to demonstrate financial need (Students who are experiencing financial and/or other educational barriers that impact access to study or continued study)
- be a commencing student to higher education
- Be enrolled full-time in an Adelaide University Undergraduate Program (this does not include Pathways and Participation programs)
Selection criteria
Applicants are required to provide a written statement addressing the grant criteria (min 250 words) detailing:
- why you would value receiving the grant
- how you would intend to use the funding
Important information
Students in receipt of a Destination Australia Scholarship are not eligible to receive a Cowan Regional Grant.How to apply
