The Codan Undergraduate STEM Scholarship for Women will be available to second-year female students enrolled full-time or part-time in an eligible College of Engineering and Information Technology undergraduate program at Adelaide University.
The scholarship recognises and encourages talented female students who wish to
pursue engineering or information technology as a career.
The scholarship is valued at up to $15,000 payable over three years and includes the opportunity for recipients to undertake paid work experience at Codan at a mutually agreed time and duration. The industry experience will typically take place during the summer teaching break for 6-12 weeks.
The work experience component of the scholarship is designed to complement the financial assistance available and extend the scholarships value by providing practical work-based experience and mentoring, and potentially a pathway to employment.
Value: $5,000 per year up to 3 years (for full time students) plus a 6–12-week paid placement with Codan. Pro-rata payments will apply for part-time students.
