The Built Environs Construction Management Grant will be awarded to a second-year student enrolled full-time in a construction management (Honours) undergraduate program at Adelaide University.
Value: up to $6,000 plus a 6–12-week paid placement with Built Environs.
Recipients receive payments in third and fourth year in instalments of $1,500 (subject to enrolment checks and satisfactory academic progression).

• $1,500 after the Semester 2 census date

Eligibility
- be an Australian citizen‚ permanent resident of Australia‚ holders of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa, or New Zealand Citizen.
- be a continuing second-year student studying Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) – 4 years full-time in person or online
- have full-time enrolment in an eligible construction management program
- demonstrate academic achievement (a cumulative Grade Point Average of 5.0 or above)
- agree to undertake a work placement at Built Environs
Selection criteria
Applicants are required to provide the following:
- Applicants must provide a written statement (maximum 750 words) detailing:
- reasons for studying a construction management degree
- future career goals within the building and construction industry
- their knowledge of Built Environs and the industry sector in which the company operates
- interest in attending a paid work placement at Built Environs and what they would like to achieve during placement
- academic standing and achievements
- any previous and current work experience
- community involvement and/or extracurricular ac
Important information
The grant includes the opportunity for recipients to undertake paid work experience at Built Environs at a mutually agreed time and duration. The industry experience will typically take place during the summer teaching break for 6-12 weeks.
At the end of the work placement‚ recipients may be offered ongoing employment at Built Environs subject to negotiation between the company and students.
