The Brake Family Refugee Grant is available to students from a refugee or humanitarian background who are studying an Adelaide University bachelors degree.
Value: $5000, to be paid in a lump sum.
Pro-rata payments will apply for part-time enrolment.

Eligibility criteria
⦁ Australian Citizen‚ an Australian Permanent Resident, the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa‚ Temporary Resident or New Zealand Citizen
⦁ Refugee or Humanitarian background.
⦁ Enrolled in an undergraduate program.
⦁ Enrolled on-campus at a metropolitan campus.
⦁ Full-time and part-time study load.
⦁ Submission of a written statement.
Candidate selection
Applicants must provide a written statement (maximum 500 words) detailing:
⦁ Status as a person from a refugee or humanitarian background
⦁ academic achievements
⦁ future career goals
⦁ any financial or educational disadvantage or circumstances they would like taken into account
