The Audrey Abbie Veterinary Perpetual Prize was established in 2008 by a donation to the University of Adelaide from Mrs Audrey Abbie. The prize provides financial support to an outstanding student to pursue further education or undertake an internship, either in Australia or overseas.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:
- Have completed the second year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and undertaking the final year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Selection criteria
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Excellent reports from practitioners (feedback from DVM Extramural Studies)
- Outstanding academic track record and with excellent professional attributes entering the final year of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine studies;
- Likelihood of success in clinical practice.

- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- This scholarship will be open for application at the end of the year for the following year
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
