The generosity of Annie and Aaron Chia has enabled the Elder Conservatorium of Music to establish a classical guitar scholarship. The scholarship supports one undergraduate or postgraduate coursework student undertaking a Bachelor of Music (Honours), Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance or Master of Music (Performance Studies or Performance and Pedagogy) program of study at Adelaide University's School of Performing Arts and Elder Conservatorium of Music.

Value: $5,000 per year to be paid in two instalments.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be commencing a Bachelor of Music (Honours), Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Performance or Master of Music (Performance Studies or Performance and Pedagogy)
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen, holder of a permanent humanitarian visa or international student
- Be enrolled on a full time basis

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA or ATAR)
