Adelaide University College of Engineering and Information Technology will provide a living allowance scholarship to a commencing or second year‚ full-time or part-time (pro-rata) student of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent studying an Adelaide University College of Engineering and Information Technology or College of Science undergraduate program.
Selection:
Selection will be made after the Semester 1/2 census dates each year. Assessment is made on the basis of the written statement and academic merit, and if required‚ responses to additional questions if more than two applications are received.
Value:
$3‚000 per year for the duration of the program‚ to the maximum of $9‚000 for a 3 year program and $12‚000 for a 4 year program. Part-time students will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
For double/combined degree students‚ the scholarship will only apply for a maximum of 4 years full-time or pro-rata part-time. Payment will be made after the Semester 1 and Semester 2 census dates.

This grant may not be awarded if the potential recipient has received another Adelaide University STEM scholarship or grant. The total number of grants awarded will be at the discretion of Adelaide University College of Engineering and Information Technology.
The successful recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0 per Semester and maintain enrolment in a STEM Undergraduate program to receive payment. If these conditions are not met for a single Semester ‚ the recipient will forfeit the scholarship payment for that period. If these conditions are not met for two consecutive Semesters the recipient will forfeit the remainder of the scholarship‚ unless evidence is provided to support reasons why‚ and this is approved. Recipients who have applied for a leave of absence from study will forfeit the scholarship payment for that period.
