A scholarship rewarding students who have excelled in their school academically and exhibited qualities of active service to their school and/or community. Recipients are nominated by their school principal and will receive a stipend of up to $3,000 per annum for 3 years.
Eligibility criteria
- Commencing Undergraduate Student (Including online)
- Australian Citizen
- Australian Permanent Resident
- New Zealand Citizen
- Qualify for their Year 12 certificate at a nominated School in 2025
- Have applied through SATAC for admission to a Commonwealth Supported Place in an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree program at Adelaide University in 2026 and be eligible to receive an offer of a place in that program
- Be commencing post-secondary studies for the first time in 2026
- Obtain an ATAR of at least 80 (or equivalent) including all adjustment factors
- The University will contact School Principals for nomination (eligible schools include those based in South Australia, Northern Territory, non-metro border communities in Victoria, and Broken Hill)
- To be eligible for relocation grant, the home postcode as recorded in the student record, must be outside of Major Cities in Australia

Important information
- One scholarship is available for each school in South Australia, Northern Territory, non-metro border communities in Victoria, and Broken Hill
- Nominations will be called for in September and close in November
- One off relocation grant of $1,500 to students relocating from postcodes outside of Major Cities in Australia areas based on the ASGC Remoteness Area result from the Health Workforce locator
- Minimum of a pass grade (Grade Point Average of at least 4.0) in every semester is required to maintain the scholarship.
