A grant dedicated to students studying online and who have demonstrated financial barriers to accessing post-secondary study and/or reside in a rural, regional, or remote community. Recipients will receive a one-off payment of $1,500.
Eligibility criteria
- Commencing Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Student (Online ONLY)
- Be enrolled in an AU Online undergraduate program with a minimum duration of two years, and enrolled in at least two courses (or one course part-time) in their first study period
- Australian Citizen
- Australian Permanent Resident
- New Zealand Citizen
- Provide evidence of financial disadvantage and/or reside in a rural or isolated area
- To be eligible for Rural / Regional / Remote assessment, the home postcode as recorded in the student record, must be outside of Major Cities in Australia
- Supporting evidence for financial need

- Financial need will be determined based on submission of supporting documentation, such as centrelink benefits and other relevant financial documentation
